Aaron Hayes joined the firm as Of Counsel with the San Francisco and Southern California offices of the firm. Mr. Hayes’ practice includes defense of employment practices, directors and officers, and professional liability matters. Mr. Hayes has extensive experience defending cases in California courts and administrative agencies, and has tried several cases to verdict. Additionally, Mr. Hayes regularly advises employers of all sizes on employment issues and best practices for personnel management.
Apart from having practiced law in California for over ten years, Mr. Hayes previously worked as a Claims Manager for an employment practices insurance carrier developing extensive experience managing litigation and analyzing coverage issues, and has served as panel counsel for several insurers, handling a wide range of matters from employment suits to general liability litigation.
Connor Bateman joined the firm as an Associate in Atlanta. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Georgia State University College of Law, where he served as Legislation Editor of the Georgia State Law Review. Mr. Bateman received awards for excellence in Criminal Law, Georgia Practice and Procedure, and Legal Research and Writing.
While in law school, Mr. Bateman was a judicial intern in the Supreme Court of Georgia for the Honorable P. Harris Hines and also worked as a session legal aide in the Georgia House of Representatives.
