FMG Adds New Attorneys to Atlanta Office


Tim Holdsworth is an associate in the Labor and Employment Law section. Mr. Holdsworth received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Holdsworth served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and interned for the Honorable John J. Goger in the Superior Court of Fulton County.

Mr. Holdsworth received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, where he graduated magna cum laude with a double major in History and Classical Culture. After law school, Mr. Holdsworth clerked for Magistrate Judge Brian K. Epps in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.

 

 

 

Wes Jackson is an associate in the Government Law section. Mr. Jackson received a B.A. in English and a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia, where he graduated with High Honors from the Honors Program. He then received his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School. While in law school, Mr. Jackson served as an Articles Editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review and a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing program.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Jackson worked for one year as a public defender in Nashville, Tennessee. He then clerked for the Honorable Lisa Godbey Wood in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.

 

 

Brian Lake is an associate in the Commerical and Complex Litigation practice group. Mr. Lake received his B.A. in English from the University of Georgia. Mr. Lake also received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, magna cum laude, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and served as a notes editor for the Georgia Law Review.

Mr. Lake was previously a Law Clerk to the Honorable William T. Moore, Jr., United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Georgia.

 

 

 

Amanda Proctor is an associate in the Professional Liability and Insurance Coverage practice group. Ms. Proctor received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, where she graduated summa cum laude with a double major in International Affairs and Spanish.  Ms. Proctor then received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served as an articles editor for the Georgia Law Review.

Prior to joining Freeman Mathis & Gary, Ms. Proctor clerked for the Honorable William T. Boyett of the Conasauga Judicial Circuit Superior Court and the Honorable C. Ashley Royal of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.

 

 

Kristian Smith is an associate in the Commercial and Complex Litigation section. Ms. Smith received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in Journalism and Electronic Media and a minor in political science.

Ms. Smith then received her law degree from Emory University School of Law, where she graduated with honors. While at Emory, Ms. Smith served as a member of the Moot Court team. She was a member of the 2014 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court team and the 2014 National Moot Court team.
