FMG is pleased to announce that Coleen Hosack has been named Of Counsel. Ms. Hosack practices in the Atlanta office and focuses on providing a strategic legal defense to local governments in civil litigation matters involving constitutional and civil rights issues. Her practice also includes zoning, land use, nuisance, and condemnation law. Ms. Hosack appears regularly in both state and federal courts as part of her trial and appellate practice. She also has extensive experience in drafting local ordinances, charters, and resolutions, and has advised local government clients on land use policies, annexation procedures, eminent domain matters, and development standards.
She is a regular contributor to the FMG Government practice section blog on topics of interest to local governments and publishes and teaches continuing education courses on land use topics. She coordinates the FMG pro bono program in connection with the Cobb Justice Foundation.
Ms. Hosack graduated from the University of Georgia (1987) and received her law degree from Cumberland Law School (1994). She is a Henry Upson Sims Moot Court National award recipient and was a contributing member for the Cumberland School of Law American Journal of Trial Advocacy. She resides in East Cobb County and has been happily married to Rob Hosack for 22 years and has three children, Maddie, Emma, and Bo.
