Amanda Kunz Hall is Of Counsel in the Labor Law and Employment and Complex Commercial Litigation sections of Freeman Mathis & Gary.  Ms. Hall regularly counsels both large and small employers on a variety of labor and employment and commercial matters, including avoidance of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; compliance with disability and medical leave requirements; wage and hour issues; employee terminations; employee policies and handbooks; and restrictive covenants and other contractual issues.  Ms. Hall also has extensive experience handling such claims at the administrative level as well as in state and federal court at both the trial court and appellate levels. 

Prior to working at Freeman Mathis & Gary, Ms. Hall worked at a large, international law firm where she litigated numerous complex and contentious employment and business matters.  She is also a former law clerk to the Honorable E. Clayton Scofield, III, retired United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Georgia. 

Ms. Hall received her undergraduate degree in Government and French from Wofford College, summa cum laude.  Ms. Hall then received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, with high honors. 

Ms. Hall co-chairs the firm’s Women Attorneys’ group and regularly volunteers for several local civic and charitable organizations.  She also is an active member of the Cathedral of Christ the King in Buckhead, and is a regular volunteer at The Lovett School.
