Brett Safford is an Associate in Freeman, Mathis & Gary’s Hermosa Beach office and practices in the Professional Liability and Insurance section of Freeman, Mathis & Gary. Mr. Safford’s practice includes business and securities litigation matters before state and federal courts, FINRA, and other regulatory bodies.
Before joining Freeman, Mathis & Gary, Mr. Safford clerked for the Honorable Craig Karlan, the Honorable Stuart Rice, and the Honorable Ramona See of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County. He received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. Mr. Safford served as the Chief Production Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and receiving First Honors for attaining the highest grade in California Civil Procedure, Negotiations, and Fact Investigation. During law school, Mr. Safford interned for the Honorable Carl West of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County and volunteered at the Cancer Legal Resource Center.
Prior to law school, Mr. Safford earned his Bachelor of Arts in Politics where he graduated cum laude and was a member of Occidental’s golf team.
