"Racial Profiling" in Arizona: Sensational Press vs. Legal Reality

Not surprisingly, Arizona Senate Bill 1070 has stirred up a lot of controversy and sensational press regarding "racial profiling," not only in Arizona, but across America. With calls for economic boycotts and legal challenges on one end of the political spectrum and the need for "law and order" and proactive enforcement of "immigration laws" on the other end, it remains extremely difficult to establish a viable claim for "racial profiling." This is the legal reality.

Alternative Loan and Bond Resources for Small Businesses

These economic times have been very trying on business and even more trying on small businesses. Most businesses need loans in order to run, whether to improve infrastructure, purchase equipment or simply to keep the lights on (hopefully temporarily). Banks are still not lending money like they were before the recession and, more than likely, the ability to obtain loans without having to put too much skin in the game is over - at least for now.
