FMG Adds New Attorneys

Bobby Baker, Partner

Robert Baker, Jr. Robert "Bobby" Baker, Jr. joined FMG as a Partner in the Atlanta office. Mr. Baker's practice will focus on providing strategic and regulatory counseling to private companies and local governments, with an emphasis on energy, transportation and technology issues. His practice also will include appellate cases and mediations. Mr. Baker served as a statewide elected member of the Georgia Public Service Commission from 1992 to 2010.

Mr. Baker has been recognized on numerous occasions by both Georgia Trend Magazine and the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the city and state's most influential leaders. He has served on the board of directors for the Georgia Center for Advanced Telecommunications Technology (GCATT) and as Vice-Chairman of the Gwinnett County Planning Commission. He also is the recipient of the Talmage Award from Oglethorpe University in honor of his distinguished professional career and public service.

Seth Kirby, Of Counsel

Seth KirbySeth F. Kirby joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Atlanta office. Mr. Kirby practices in the firm’s Business Liability and Insurance Law Group. He focuses on insurance coverage matters and professional liability defense. Mr. Kirby has extensive experience in representing insurance companies in litigation involving coverage issues as well as allegations of bad faith.  Mr. Kirby received his B.A. from the University of Georgia, cum laude and his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, cum laude. He served as circulation editor for the Georgia State University Law Review and is a member of the Georgia Bar.
