Stephanie L. Greenfield is Of Counsel in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Cherry Hill office. She zealously represents companies and executives in challenging and complex litigation and other matters throughout state and federal courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her ability to evaluate claims and develop creative strategies repeatedly has led to successful outcomes for her clients.

As a member of the Labor and Employment Group, Ms. Greenfield defends claims of wrongful discharge, race, gender, age, sexual orientation, and disability discrimination, as well as racial and sexual harassment under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (“NJLAD”), Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), Title VII, Section 1981 and Section 1983. She also litigates cases involving defamation, interference with contract, business torts and wage and hour disputes. She is experienced in handling administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights. She also has experience in handling matters on behalf of educational institutions.

Ms. Greenfield also has substantial experience defending an array of catastrophic negligence, products, and toxic tort claims. She has significant experience with serious injuries including traumatic brain injury, complex regional pain syndrome (reflex sympathetic dystrophy), paraplegia and quadriplegia, and respiratory diseases like bronchiolitis obliterans. Her litigation experience also encompasses defending homeowners associations and community associations.

Ms. Greenfield is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and Widener University School of Law. Following law school, Ms. Greenfield served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Bill H. Mathesius in the Superior Court of New Jersey, which provided her critical insight into navigating the often complex judiciary system.

In Stephanie’s free time, she usually can be found keeping up with her twin boys on the soccer field and tennis court. She also loves traveling and exploring new cities, and is never one to pass up a good book recommendation.
