Candice Jackson is a Partner in FMG’s San Rafael (Marin County) and San Francisco offices. She is chair of the Firm’s Education Team and also practices in the Firm’s Labor and Employment Law and Government Law Sections. She is one of the country’s foremost education and employment law attorneys, having formerly served as Deputy General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, in the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C. Prior to serving in Washington, D.C. Ms. Jackson lived and practiced in Washington State, representing clients in Washington, Oregon, and California in business, employment, and civil rights litigation, advice, and counseling.
