Gail L.Orr is Senior Counsel in Freeman Mathis & Gary's Los Angeles Office and is a Member of the firm’s Insurance Practice Group. Gail represents insurance clients in coverage and litigation matters, including cases arising out of disputes with insureds and among insurance companies. Gail has represented insurers in coverage, bad faith, contribution actions, and related matters involving various types of insurance coverage such as construction defect, personal and advertising injury, employment, and professional liability. She has participated in numerous mediations.
Gail’s experience in Insurance provides her a unique ability to evaluate complex coverage issues and provide potential solutions for resolution. She works closely with clients and to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Gail has been actively involved in several published opinions before the California Supreme Court and California Court of Appeal, including the seminal cases Forecast Homes, Inc. v. Steadfast Insurance Company, 181 Cal.App.4th 1466 (2010), Foster-Gardner, Inc. v. Nat'l Union Fire Ins. Co., 18 Cal. 4th 857 (1998), as modified (Sept. 23, 1998), and Haskel, Inc. v. Superior Court, 33 Cal.App.4th 963 (1995).
