Jhada Close is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Hartford office. She is a member of the firm's Tort & Catastrophic Liability practice area.

Before joining FMG, Ms. Close earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she graduated with honors in the Top 25% of her class. While in law school, she served as Co-President of the Black Law Students Association, Legal Research and Writing Teaching Assistant, Dean’s Assistant for the Office of Diversity, Belonging, and Community Engagement, and a Mock Trial Coach and competitor. She also participated in the Public Interest Law Group, Street Law, and Tutor the Future Program.
