Thiago Rafael is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Las Vegas office. Mr. Rafael is a member of the Tort & Catastrophic Loss practice area. His practice focuses on general liability, premises liability, commercial litigation, construction defense, and regulatory defense.

Having spent five years working directly inside major Las Vegas casino properties, Mr. Rafael understands resort security protocols, incident report construction, and corporate compliance from the inside out. This background gives him an immediate edge when reviewing surveillance footage, evaluating incident records, cross-examining witnesses, and spotting evidentiary gaps in complex personal injury and premises claims.

Before joining FMG, Mr. Rafael worked in public legal administration at Brazil's Ministry of Justice, overseeing administrative proceedings and disciplinary matters. He also taught constitutional law to law students and instructed federal law enforcement agents in public policy at an academy in Brasília.
