3 FMG Law Attorneys Recognized in Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” Awards, 2027 Edition

This exclusive award is presented to only one attorney in each practice area and geographic region each year, making it among the highest honors bestowed through the Best Lawyers peer-review process.

Selected based on exceptionally high peer-review ratings, “Lawyer of the Year” recipients are recognized for their outstanding legal abilities, professionalism, integrity, and reputation among fellow attorneys within their practice areas and legal communities. Because only a single attorney receives this distinction in each practice area and metropolitan area, the honor reflects an extraordinary level of respect and recognition from peers.

• Partner Michael Kenney was recognized as the 2027 “Lawyer of the Year” for Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions – Defendants in Hartford, Connecticut.
• Partner John Schultz was recognized as the 2027 “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation – Insurance in Kansas City, Missouri.
  • In addition to the “Lawyer of the Year” award, Mr. Schultz was also listed in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the following practice areas: Insurance Law; Litigation – Construction; Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants; and Product Liability Litigation – Defendants.
• Partner Kyle Virgin was recognized as the 2027 “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation – Construction in Lexington, Kentucky.
  • In addition to the “Lawyer of the Year” award, Mr. Virgin was also listed in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the following practice areas: Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants and Professional Malpractice Law – Defendants.
