FMG Adds Partners and Lawyers in GA and CA

Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, a leading nationwide specialty litigation law firm, is pleased to announce the latest additions to its team of attorneys. 

 

Bert Reeves will be Of Counsel to FMG in Atlanta. Mr. Reeves is a highly experienced attorney who handles complex litigation throughout the State of Georgia. He also is a member of the House of Representatives of the Georgia General Assembly. He serves a Floor Leader for Governor Brian Kemp in the House.  
Mr. Reeves focuses his practice on representing private companies in business litigation and regulatory and compliance matters. He also has extensive experience in representing local governmental entities. As a former prosecutor, he often is called upon to conduct sensitive high-level investigations for clients as well as to defend clients in white collar criminal matters and compliance and corporate governance issues.

Michele Kirrane joins us as a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s San Francisco Office. She is an accomplished trial lawyer who has handled large exposure matters in both state and federal courts, from intake to trial. Michele has a diverse litigation practice that includes commercial, products liability, premises liability and catastrophic loss actions. She is trusted by a wide range of clients including product manufacturers and suppliers, business owners, municipalities, schools, individuals, community organizations, and retail stores.
Michele understands the challenges of litigation and takes a tailored approach to each matter she handles. She is tenacious in her investigation and development of strategies carefully designed to protect her clients’ interests. Tim Hodge recently joined as Of Counsel in Freeman, Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Los Angeles – Downtown Office. With more than 21 years of civil litigation defense experience in California state courts, Mr. Hodge has been responsible for litigating matters from inception through trial in cases involving general and professional negligence, premises liability, products liability, landlord-tenant disputes, and construction defects.  
In addition to his experience in civil litigation, Mr. Hodge has varied experience outside of the practice of law such as in business acquisition with the American Express Company, as an adjunct instructor of law, and now serves on the Planning Commission for the City of Simi Valley.

Emily Williams will be Staff Counsel in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Los Angeles – Downtown office, where she will focus primarily on torts and catastrophic loss. Her experience includes personal injury law, most recently working as an associate attorney in a plaintiff’s personal injury firm.
During law school, Ms. Williams was an editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review, Inter-American Court of Human Rights Project, where she wrote three pieces that were selected for publication. She clerked with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Federal Trade Commission, and Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. Read more.

 

Davit Zargaryan joins the Freeman Mathis & Gary Los Angeles – Downtown office. He joins the tort and catastrophic loss national practice section. Prior to joining FMG, Mr. Zargaryan’s practice involved commercial litigation, where he defended clients in complex business disputes. Mr. Zargaryan was also selected for a prestigious Fellowship with the American Board of Trial Advocates. Read more.
