Alicia Santocki Joins FMG as Partner in New York City

Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, a leading nationwide litigation law firm with 200 attorneys in 19 offices in 10 states, is pleased to announce that Alicia Santocki has joined the Firm as a partner in the New York City office. Ms. Santocki also will practice in Firm’s offices in Newark, New Jersey and New Haven, Connecticut.
 
In addition, Ms. Santocki will serve as Managing Director of FMG Assurance, which is the Firm’s proprietary program for client compliance, project management, risk assessment, and process improvement. This client initiative is designed to enhance client satisfaction by ensuring service excellence across offices and practice sections. The FMG Assurance team led by Ms. Santocki will align client goals with all aspects of their relationship with the Firm by implementing systems, protocols, and optimized staffing models to drive efficient, consistent, and cost-effective delivery of services and mitigate client risk.

Ms. Santocki brings to FMG over two decades of experience as claims, coverage, and monitoring counsel for a number of national programs for carriers and syndicates based in the London, Bermuda, and U.S. markets. Her claims and litigation management experience includes numerous specialty lines ranging from Employment, D&O, MPL, LPL, A&E, and financial institutions to miscellaneous medical and senior living and aging services. She also has significant experience and knowledge in new and emerging exposures including cybersecurity, data privacy & technology. She has advised InsurTechs to help bring them to market and partnered with alternative legal service providers. 

Ms. Santocki graduated from the University of Florida and subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School. She is a Board Member of Women in Cyber Leadership, which is the recent recipient of the Advisen 2020 Cyber Risk Newcomer Award. She is also on the Hartford Chapter Steering Committee of the Professional Liability and Underwriters Society (PLUS) and a regular speaker for industry webinars and panels, sharing insights on trends and best practices.
