Agne Krutules is an associate in the Labor and Employment, Immigration, Commercial and Complex Litigation, and Data Security, Privacy, & Cyber Liability practice sections of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP. 

Ms. Krutules spearheads the firm’s Employment Business Immigration practice. As a naturalized US citizen herself, she understands and relates to the wide spectrum of issues arising from business and family related immigration matters. Ms. Krutules is knowledgeable and passionate in advising foreign start-ups, established businesses, individual investors, seasoned and young professionals, and individuals in obtaining and maintaining their immigration status in the United States. Ms. Krutules has represented businesses in employment-based immigration matters in the hi-tech, engineering, manufacturing, and financial sectors. Ms. Krutules also advises business on immigration compliance issues and in connection with the USCIS, ICE, and DOL audits. Ms. Krutules is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Another area of Ms. Krutules’s expertise is data security and privacy. Ms. Krutules has extensive experience helping businesses respond to data breaches and comply with notification laws involving all types of information, ranging from social security numbers to healthcare information to credit card data. She represents businesses in litigation matters related to data security and privacy, including lawsuits under federal laws such as the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, as well in investigations into privacy practices by the Federal Trade Commission and Federal Consumers Protection Bureau. 

Ms. Krutules is also experienced in representing public and private sector employers in all aspects of employment matters, including compliance with the immigration laws and regulations, employment discrimination claims, wage and hour violations, and restrictive covenant litigation. Ms. Krutules advises employers on general employment matters, such as employment agreements, restrictive covenants, arbitration agreements, and I-9 compliance.

Further, Ms. Krutules’s experience includes products liability defense in federal and state courts. She has advised medical device manufacturers, clinical research organizations, hospitals, long-term care providers, home health agencies, drug manufacturers, and pharmacies.
