

Jason M. Pannu is a Partner and Office Co-Chair in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Nashville office. Mr. Pannu is also Chair of the firm’s Construction and Design Law national practice section, as well as Chair of the firm's Architects & Engineers Design Liability national practice team. Jason has handled a variety of matters in the area of complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on the construction industry. He served as the President of the Tennessee Bar Association in 2018-2019.
As part of his construction law practice, Jason advises architects, engineers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, and material suppliers on large-scale construction projects. He regularly appears in State and Federal Courts and arbitration on construction defect, professional negligence, breach of contract, lien, and bond claims.
Jason handles professional liability claims representing accountants, lawyers, insurance agents, consultants, brokers, and miscellaneous professionals in defending against various claims, including negligence, malfeasance, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract.
Jason grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and is fluent in Cantonese Chinese and French.
