Overview

Catherine Fitch is Staff Counsel in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Atlanta office. Prior to joining FMG, she was a senior conflicts attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. 

As an associate at Willard & Sullivan, Catherine supported partner Wendell K. Willard, who was then City Attorney for Sandy Springs.  During the 2011 and 2012 legislative sessions, she served as Counsel to the House Judiciary Committee, Georgia House of Representatives, under Chairman Willard.  She then joined the Judicial Council of Georgia/Administrative Office of the Courts, where she lobbied on behalf of the judicial branch.  In 2015, she became the first Executive Director of the Council of Probate Court Judges of Georgia. 

Catherine graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia.  She graduated cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law, where she served on the law review board and Jessup International Moot Court team. She is a past member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Bar Journal, the Fulton County Arts Council, and the Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton.
