
Joseph (Joe) Sullivan is a Partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Atlanta office. Mr. Sullivan serves as Deputy General Counsel for the Firm. He is part of the Commercial Litigation/Directors & Officers practice section. Mr. Sullivan has been recognized as a “Rising Star” and “Super Lawyer” by Atlanta Magazine, designated “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend Magazine and named a “Best Lawyer” by The Best Lawyers in America.
He represents clients in all aspects of commercial litigation, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and partnership disputes. Mr. Sullivan also defends attorneys, corporate officers and other professionals in connection with professional liability claims. He strives to protect the best interests of his clients, whether that means an early case resolution or obtaining a favorable verdict at trial. Mr. Sullivan assists in advising the Firm regarding litigation and risk management concerns.
Mr. Sullivan regularly speaks on professional liability and ethics topics throughout the country. He earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University and completed his undergraduate studies at University of Georgia.
