Overview

Sotheby Mancini is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Denver office. She is a member of the Firm’s Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Commercial Litigation/Directors & Officers national practice sections.

Prior to joining FMG, Ms. Mancini served as an extern at several energy companies, where she focused on regulatory compliance and EPA rulemaking advocacy. She also gained litigation experience through internships at civil litigation firms in Oklahoma and Texas. She delivers client service through meticulous legal analysis and a focus on actionable, business-minded outcomes.

Ms. Mancini is a member of the Colorado Bar Association. She earned her law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law, graduating with Highest Honors and a concentration in Sustainable Energy & Resources Law. While in law school, she served as the Student Editor-in-Chief of the Energy Law Journal, where her case note, “A Clarification on FERC’s Discretion in Finding Just and Reasonable Rates in the Electricity Market: Public Citizen, Inc. v. FERC,” was published in Volume 44, No. 1. She received her bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in accounting from Oklahoma State University (OSU), where she was recognized as a Top 5 Finance Senior and graduated with an honors College Degree, the highest academic distinction awarded at OSU.
