Overview

Steven C. Christianson is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the San Diego office. He brings extensive experience in insurance defense and civil litigation. His practice focuses on personal injury matters, including automobile accidents and premises liability, as well as complex litigation involving wrongful death, construction defects, business disputes and civil rights matters.

Before becoming an attorney, Christianson spent years working in the legal field, gaining valuable experience in trial preparation, electronic discovery and litigation strategy. He has worked on high-stakes cases involving transportation litigation, homeowners’ association disputes, class action lawsuits, complex business disputes—including breach of contract, defamation and unfair competition—and Unruh Act/ADA website accessibility defense. His background also includes handling litigation related to catastrophic wildfires, property loss claims and liability disputes.

Beyond his legal practice, Christianson serves as the president of Orca Conservancy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and recovery of orcas and their habitats. In this role, he advocates for conservation policies, collaborates with researchers and works to promote public awareness of marine ecosystem preservation.
