Overview

Christopher Greene is a Partner in the Atlanta office of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, where he serves as Chief Legal Officer overseeing Legal Operations and the Practice Support functions.

Mr. Greene brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across the insurance and legal industries, with expertise in claims and litigation management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and complex commercial operations. He has held senior executive legal roles at national insurance organizations, advising boards and executive leadership on high-stakes legal and strategic matters. He has also led enterprise-wide legal and claims functions, oversaw regulatory and legislative affairs, directed complex litigation nationwide, and guided compliance, and risk mitigation initiatives. His background includes developed expertise on litigated matters involving the transportation industry.

Mr. Greene is a member of the Alabama State Bar. He has been awarded the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Claims Professional (CCP), and the Advanced Claims Professional (ACP) designations. He is an active member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), and the American Bar Association (ABA). He has also been inducted as a Fellow into the American Bar Foundation.
