Ze'eva Kushner is Of Counsel in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation/Directors & Officers, Construction, and Data Security, Privacy & Technology practice groups. Ms. Kushner focuses her practice on securities litigation and the representation of broker-dealers and investment advisors in arbitrations, litigation and regulatory matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and state regulators.  She also represents companies in accountant and legal professional liability litigation, deal protection litigation and general commercial litigation matters.

Ms. Kushner has substantial experience representing clients in federal courts throughout the country in multi-million dollar securities class actions, shareholder and derivative litigation, and multi-district litigation. She previously worked at a premier boutique litigation firm in Atlanta. 

In Ms. Kushner’s cyber practice, she advises and represents businesses in matters relating to data security and privacy laws.  She has experience helping businesses respond to data breaches and comply with notification laws involving inadvertent disclosure of information, with particular expertise with regard to the financial data maintained by financial services institutions.  She also represents businesses in litigation matters related to data security and privacy as well as investigations into privacy practices by agencies like FINRA, the SEC and the Federal Trade Commission.

Ms. Kushner obtained her law degree from Emory University School of Law. While at Emory, she served as a member of the Moot Court Society and received the Order of Advocates Award.  Ms. Kushner obtained her undergraduate degree from Stanford University. Prior to majoring in Political Science, she was focused on biology and co-authored an article published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
