Christine Lee is a partner in Freeman, Mathis & Gary’s Marin office.  Ms. Lee has been practicing civil litigation in San Francisco for over 12 years.  She has represented individuals and businesses in numerous lawsuits throughout Northern and Central California through all phases of litigation including through jury trial as lead attorney.  Ms. Lee has also participated in dozens of mediations, arbitrations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

She practices in the areas of employment, construction, and commercial and real estate litigation.  Ms. Lee emphasizes her practice in counseling construction employers and employees on their rights and obligations under California employment law. She is experienced in litigation representing employers and employees involving California wage and hour violations, prevailing wage claims, wrongful termination and discrimination claims, claims under the California Private Attorney General Act, and unfair business practices violations.  Ms. Lee also counsels employers on employment contracts, independent contractor classification, employee handbooks and manuals, confidentiality agreements, and separation agreements.

Ms. Lee is also experienced in litigation involving construction payment disputes, delay claims, surety claims, lien or stop notice claims, construction defects and insurance coverage disputes.  She has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants through various phases of litigation, mediation, arbitration and jury trial.

Ms. Lee received her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000.  In 2004, she received her juris doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where she was a member of the Communications & Entertainment Law Journal.

Ms. Lee is currently a member of the Labor and Employment section of the Marin County Bar Association.  She is also a member of the Asian American Bar Association.

Ms. Lee has been married to Chris J. Lee since 2007 and has two children.  She is active at her church and enjoys photography, travel, reading and jogging.
