Frank C. Olah is a partner in  Los Angeles – downtown office of Freeman Mathis &  Gary, LLP. He is a highly experienced litigator and counselor who has handled a diverse array of cases involving employment, professional liability and commercial litigation.

Mr. Olah’s employment law practice centers on representing employers in class actions and single-plaintiff discrimination and wage & hour cases across the State of California. He also advises employers on day-to-day general employment matters, including the preparation of employee handbooks, termination and discipline of employees, employment agreements, post hire covenants, and arbitration agreements.

Mr. Olah regularly defends errors and claims against various professionals, with a particular focus on lawyer malpractice claims. He has defended both large and small law firms on trial teams defending multi million dollar exposures. He works with a number of California law firms regarding risk management and avoidance. His professional liability practice also includes defense of homeowner's association and property management companies in a myriad of claims involving members and tenants. 

Mr. Olah’s commercial and directors and officers practice encompasses state, federal and arbitration cases representing clients in business litigation including class action and  multi-district litigation. He has handled cases under the Lanham Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and RICO, in addition to breach of fiduciary duty claims.   He has particular experience in financial services litigation involving wrongful foreclosure and mortgage fraud claims.

Mr Olah also provides corporate and transactional legal services to established privately-held companies as well as start-ups in the areas of business formation, regulatory compliance, the drafting and negotiation of contracts, and outside general counsel legal support.

Mr. Olah graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006, where he was an award-winning member of the International Moot Court Board and the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Washington & Lee University.
