Brittany Kurtz is an associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary's Philadelphia office. Through the Kline School of Law at Drexel University’s Co-Op program, she interned with FMG and was later hired as a Law Clerk. Prior to her time at FMG, she worked in a plaintiff’s person injury firm.

Ms. Kurtz earned her J.D.  with pro bono honors from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University in 2018. While at the Kline School of Law, she was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Pennsylvania Family Law Practice. She was a member of the Mock Trial Team and competed in two competitions. Through her internships at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office, she completed over 100 hours of public service by completing research for the Sex Crimes Unit and representing the Commonwealth as a Certified Legal Intern during probation/parole revocation hearings.

Prior to attending Law School, Ms. Kurtz earned a Master of Science degree in Experimental Psychology at Bucknell University. She researched and successfully defended her thesis, “Sexual Assault Risk During Study Abroad,” which focused on Posttraumatic Stress Disorder symptoms reported by sexual assault survivors.

Ms. Kurtz earned her undergraduate degree at Franklin & Marshall College, where she played softball. She enjoys going to 76ers games, concerts and playing with her dog, Thor.
