Thomas McCraw is a Partner in the Freeman Mathis & Gary Boston office. He focuses his practice on the defense of professionals, including architects, engineers, surveyors, attorneys, and real estate brokers. Mr. McCraw represents clients in federal and state courts, in both jury and nonjury cases; before arbitration panels; and in mediations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Mr. McCraw has extensive experience in the evaluation, analysis, and implementation of defenses to claims made against architects, engineers, and surveyors concerning construction projects that range from property boundary line determinations to large public and private construction projects. 

Mr. McCraw also represents creditors in debtor/creditor litigation and bankruptcy, including liquidations under Chapter 7, reorganizations under Chapters 11 and 13, and adversary proceedings. In addition to bankruptcy issues, Mr. McCraw has handled a broad range of commercial litigation matters involving consumer finance issues, real estate foreclosures, FDCPA/TCPA cases, contracts for professional services, insurance coverage disputes, shareholder disputes in closely held corporations, partnership disputes, employment agreements, covenants not to compete, and intellectual property disputes.

He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maryland, among others.
