Robert “Rob” Young is an associate in the firm’s Atlanta office, where he is a member of the Labor and Employment National Practice Section. Rob received his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, where he served as the Executive Symposium Editor for the 31st volume of the Emory International Law Review. While at Emory, he externed for the Honorable Judge Vincent Hill of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Hearings Unit and the Honorable Judge Wendy L. Shoob of the Superior Court of Fulton County. In addition, he worked in the Employment Litigation Section of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Rob received his B.A. in Political Science and International Studies with honors, magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University.

Prior to joining Freeman Mathis & Gary, Rob worked at a prominent civil defense firm in Atlanta. In his free time, Rob enjoys golf, running, and traveling.
