Shanique Fenlator is an Associate Attorney in Freeman, Mathis, & Gary’s Hartford office. Ms. Fenlator is an experienced litigator, and specializes in client-focused advocacy of businesses and insurers in personal injury matters. Her litigation practice focuses on premises liability, retail and hospitality negligence, product liability, commercial transportation/ trucking accidents, and workers’ compensation defense. Ms. Fenlator received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2007, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2011. While in law school, she served as the Notes & Comments Editor for the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal, and was elected to the Moot Court Board after advancing as a Quarter Finalist in the William H. Hastie Moot Court Competition.

Ms. Fenlator is one of the few attorneys admitted to both tribal courts situated on tribal properties in Connecticut.  As an admitted attorney, Ms. Fenlator is permitted to handle any litigation pending before the Gaming Disputes Court and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court, which includes any business on or affecting two of the world’s largest casinos - Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun Casino.

Outside of the office, Ms. Fenlator enjoys traveling, baking, and supporting the UConn Huskies at basketball and football games.
