Alan C. Nolley, Jr., is Senior Counsel in Freeman, Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Walnut Creek, California office. Mr. Nolley is a fierce and experienced trial lawyer who has managed all aspects of complex, challenging and high-stakes litigation. Mr. Nolley has successfully represented public and private clients at trial in state and federal court, in appeals, arbitration hearings and in the negotiation of contracts, license agreements and other transactions.
Mr. Nolley’s sixteen (16) years of experience have proven crucial in helping his clients achieve their goals and reach successful resolutions in matters involving an array of complex issues, including defective products, premises liability, food borne illnesses, employment, toxic torts, environmental, vehicular accidents, and catastrophic injuries. He also has extensive experience in intellectual property, business and commercial law.
Prior to joining FMG, Mr. Nolley served as in-house Senior Litigation Counsel for Flynn Group, the world’s largest restaurant franchise operator, which owns and operates over 2,400 restaurants in the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Mr. Nolley represented Flynn in a wide range of litigation involving business, commercial and tort disputes and provided legal support for its operations, including strategic counsel and guidance on complex and high-exposure pre-litigation, risk management and contract issues.
