Alex Gebert is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Dallas office. Mr. Gebert leverages his litigation experience and business background with the work ethic he developed during his collegiate baseball career to bring the same intensity, presence, and poise to the courtroom that he brought to the mound. He is a member of the Commercial Litigation/Directors & Officers, Construction and Design Law, Professional Liability/Errors and Omissions, and Tort and Catastrophic Loss Practice Sections.
Prior to Freeman Mathis & Gary, Mr. Gebert practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Dallas, specializing in the representation of professionals across the design, construction, and real estate industries. Mr. Gebert’s clients included international and regional architecture, engineering, and land surveying firms, leading heavy civil contractors, and single- and multi-family real estate developers on a national and regional basis. Mr. Gebert has served as outside counsel for real estate, engineering, and architecture firms across various pre-litigation and litigation matters, including those involving catastrophic loss. In addition, Mr. Gebert has experience representing and advising companies and individuals alike on intellectual property matters concerning copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets.
