Allan L. Isbell is a Partner in Freeman Mathis and Gary, LLP’s Walnut Creek office. For over 35 years he’s focused on counseling clients in civil litigation matters. In that time, Mr. Isbell has provided his clients with reliable legal advice and skilled advocacy in hundreds of cases involving personal injury, employment discrimination, real property disputes, subrogation claims, landlord-tenant litigation, and commercial litigation. He has taken over 30 cases to trial as lead trial counsel in courts throughout California, with most of them trial by jury. Mr. Isbell has also argued before the First District Court of Appeals.
Mr. Isbell strives to serve his clients’ best interests, and oftentimes those interests include early resolution. He has advocated for those interests in hundreds of successful settlement conferences, mediations and arbitrations that avoided trials and other costly litigation for his clients.
In recognition of his professionalism, in 2011 the members of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) elected Mr. Isbell to membership in its San Francisco Chapter. He is a supporting Life Fellow of ABOTA.
