Overview

Allyson S. Brumett is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Atlanta office. She is a member of the Firm’s Tort & Catastrophic Loss section. Allyson’s practice is focused on defending claims in the areas of tort and catastrophic loss.

She began her legal practice in Portland, Oregon, where she represented insurance companies in first-party insurance disputes and bad faith litigation, as well as workers’ compensation litigation. Prior to joining FMG, Allyson spent two years defending clients, both individuals and corporations, in various premises liability and negligence actions, aviation litigation, trucking accidents, and first-party disputes.



Allyson graduated from Auburn University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Allyson received her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, where she was a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. She served as the Articles and Symposium Editor for the AJTA in her third year. Allyson began her legal practice in Portland, Oregon, where she represented insurance companies in first-party insurance disputes and bad faith litigation, as well as workers’ compensation litigation.
