Ms. Keefer handled employment discrimination and civil rights matters before the Federal District Courts of Texas and other courts across the country. Ms. Keefer has also represented dozens of cities across the DFW metroplex in her capacity as a city attorney and municipal court prosecutor in various legal matters.
Ms. Keefer graduated from Southern Methodist University – Dedman School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Ms. Keefer served for two years on the Executive Board of the Board of Advocates, was inducted into the SMU Chapter of the National Order of Barristers, and competed on mock trial and moot court teams. She also worked for the Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center and was a student attorney in two legal clinics, the SMU COVID-19 Legal Helpline clinic, and the First Amendment clinic. Throughout law school, Ms. Keefer clerked for multiple government and public interest entities, including the City of Plano prosecutor office, Dallas Independent School District, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Parkland Hospital. Prior to law school, Ms. Keefer received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Master of Arts in Legal Studies from Texas State University.
