
Autumn Keefer is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Dallas office. Ms. Keefer is a member of the Government Law, Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions and Tort & Catastrophic Loss practice sections. Her practice focuses on tort and premises liability claims, government law and representation of homeowners associations.
Ms. Keefer has handled employment discrimination and civil rights matters before the Federal District Courts of Texas and other courts across the country. She has represented dozens of cities across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex in her capacity as a city attorney and municipal court prosecutor.
Ms. Keefer earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2021. While in law school, she served for two years on the executive board of the Board of Advocates, was inducted into the SMU chapter of the National Order of Barristers and competed on mock trial and moot court teams. She worked for the Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center and participated in the SMU COVID-19 Legal Helpline and First Amendment clinics. Her clerkship experience includes roles with the City of Plano prosecutor’s office, Dallas Independent School District, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Parkland Hospital. She holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and a Master of Arts in legal studies from Texas State University.
