Brendan Deckert is an Associate with Freeman Mathis and Gary. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
He graduated from Rutgers University - New Brunswick in 2015 and later received his juris doctorate degree from Rutgers Law School in 2020. During his time at Law School, Brendan participated in Rutgers Law Review.
Brendan began his career working as a paralegal in an insurance defense firm working closely with attorneys and their clients to prepare discovery and assist in trial preparations. While attending Law School, Brendan worked as a clerk with a Plaintiff’s firm assisting in various stages of litigation including the Multidistrict Litigation involving the National Football League (“NFL”) and large-scale catastrophic injury litigation with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”). He also worked extensively on Consumer Class Action Litigation under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”). While his focus was on the aforementioned, he also assisted attorneys with cases that involved catastrophic injuries and other losses suffered in personal injury and general tort liability.
