Brett Asa is an Associate with Freeman Mathis & Gary LLP’s Los Angeles – LAX Office in the Financial Services and Banking Practice Section.
Ms. Asa delivers experience counseling and representing companies, corporate directors and officers, securities issuers, broker-dealers, investment advisors, registered representatives, individual and institutional investors, and other financial industry participants and fiduciaries in both state and federal court proceedings. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation and disputes involving securities laws, investment laws, shareholder claims, financial fraud, professional liability, and other business disputes. In addition to her state and federal court experience, Ms. Asa has had success in handling investigations, arbitrations, and mediations in matters involving regulatory and compliance matters with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI).
