Carli Smith is an Associate with Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Dallas Office. Ms. Smith’s practice focuses on labor & employment, and professional liability litigation.
Ms. Smith has experience with labor & employment matters, as well as extensive experience with corporate immigration matters. While working in a boutique law firm in Chicago, Ms. Smith had the opportunity to assist with employment litigation matters before the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois. Ms. Smith has also represented a Fortune 500 technology company with their corporate immigration matters, specializing primarily in the employment-based permanent residency process.
Ms. Smith graduated magna cum laude from the DePaul University College of Law. While in law school, she held internship positions in law firm and corporate settings, doing an array of transactional and litigation work. Prior to law school, Ms. Smith received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama with a major in Spanish language and a minor in International Studies. In her free time, Ms. Smith enjoys traveling with friends and family, and taking her corgi to the dog park.
