Cody McNearney is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Sacramento office. He is a member of the Firm’s Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Professional Liability/E&O practice sections and actively participates in the Accountants Liability and Transportation interdisciplinary teams. Cody focuses his practice on defending high-exposure cases involving automobile and trucking collisions and professional liability matters.
His past and present clients include Fortune 500 companies, medical facilities, national trucking and transportation companies, and various other business owners and professionals. He is a former service member of the U.S. Army’s Medical Corps. His extensive experience in patient care and hospital administrative duties shaped his interest in healthcare and personal injury litigation.
Cody is a member of the California Lawyers Association, the LA County Bar Association, and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California & Nevada (ADC). He holds a J.D. from the University of the Pacific – McGeorge School of Law, where he concentrated in Elder and Health Law, and he earned his B.A., cum laude, in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana.
