Dave Cecil is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Lexington office. Mr. Cecil enjoys a diversified law practice and is a member of the Firm’s Tort and Catastrophic Loss, Transportation, Professional Liability, and Healthcare practice groups. Mr. Cecil has substantial experience in the areas of personal injury, transportation, medical malpractice, and professional liability.
Mr. Cecil litigates cases arising from accidents involving personal and commercial vehicles, including trucking, motor coach, and bus cases. He defends all types of premises liability cases including slip and fall and negligent security cases. Additionally, he handles many types of professional liability cases including defense of medical negligence cases involving doctors, nursing homes, and other medical providers as well as the defense of professional negligence cases involving lawyers. Over his career, he has also successfully defended coal companies against claims of property damage, businesses against claims of discrimination, and manufacturers against claims of product liability.
