Medical Malpractice

Overview

David Rader is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Orlando office. He is a member of the Firm’s Healthcare and Medical Malpractice practice sections. David brings a unique perspective to his legal practice, shaped by his military background and years of service in high-stakes environments.

David represents clients across the healthcare industry, including hospitals, physicians, and other medical professionals, in complex litigation matters. His practice is informed by a disciplined, analytical approach developed during his tenure as an Intelligence Analyst with the United States Army Criminal Investigation Division. He served in Iraq and Kuwait during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn, and was personally commended by Brigadier General Colleen L. McGuire, U.S. Army Provost Marshal General, for his actions as a first responder to the November 5, 2009, Fort Hood Shooting Massacre.

David is admitted to practice in Florida and the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He earned his J.D. from Florida A&M University, College of Law in 2014. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University and an A.A.S. in Intelligence Studies from Cochise College.
