Ernie D. Mejia is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP Downtown San Francisco office. Ernie has extensive experience providing management defense and advice and counseling support to small and medium businesses in matters relating to every stage of the employment relationship from onboarding, to performance correction, and termination. He is well-versed in the needs of an employer working with companies in various industries and employee size and providing wholistic support to all clients.
Ernie graduated cum laude in 2019 from the University of San Francisco, School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate and was awarded the Kent Lloyd Scholarship, the Academic Excellence Award and Best Student Note Award. Ernie authored and published multiple articles in law review journals throughout the nation while in law school and was the Executive Editor of University of San Francisco Law Review Volume 52. Ernie is a member of the Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom and San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association.
In his free time, Ernie tends to his growing plant collection, takes a dance class or two, and loves to explore the city on foot.
