Overview

Jacob Lasley is an Associate in the Orlando office of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP. Mr. Lasley is a member of the Healthcare and Tort & Catastrophic Loss Practice Sections. He primarily focuses on medical malpractice defense for healthcare providers and facilities, as well as tort & catastrophic loss litigation. He represents a wide range of healthcare providers, including individual practices, outpatient facilities, and hospitals. 

Mr. Lasley is admitted to practice in both Florida and Louisiana. In addition, he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. He has delivered presentations on U.S. Federal Maritime Law, including the Longshore Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA), the federal Jones Act and General Maritime Law, as well as Louisiana’s bad faith statutes governing Residential & Commercial Property Claims. He earned a JD from Tulane University School of Law and a BS from the University of Central Florida
