Overview

Jennifer Adair is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP Atlanta office, Vice-Chair of the firm’s Tort and Catastrophic Loss national practice section, and Co-Chair of the firm’s Southeast Tort practice team. Jennifer has extensive experience representing commercial motor carrier, their drivers, and their insurers in trucking lawsuits throughout Georgia. As a member of FMG’s construction section, Jennifer defends design professionals, owners and contractors in design and construction defect claims, as well as injury claims arising from construction site accidents. She also defends the owners and operators of commercial and residential properties in premises liability claims ranging from accidents to third party criminal activity, including claims of prostitution and human / sex trafficking brought against members of the hospitality industry. Jennifer has experience in product liability, wrongful eviction and foreclosure, property loss, and intentional torts. She is well-versed in alternative dispute resolution and has tried numerous cases to verdict in both jury trials and bench trials.

After graduating cum laude in 1996 from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, Jennifer attended the University of Alabama School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 1999. Jennifer is an AV rated lawyer, and was recognized as a Rising Star by Georgia’s Super Lawyer magazine. She is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyer’s Association and the Lawyer’s Club of Atlanta.
