John Barry is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP's Boston office. He is a member of the firm’s Construction & Design and Tort & Catastrophic Loss Practice Sections. He focuses his practice on defending claims involving tort and catastrophic loss, construction defects, and complex multiparty litigation throughout Massachusetts and Maine.

Before joining Freeman Mathis & Gary, Mr. Barry practiced at Hasset & Donnelly, P.C., where he represented insurers, businesses, and individuals in a wide range of civil litigation matters. His background includes experience handling complex discovery, motion practice and trial preparation.

During his time at Bowdoin College, Mr. Barry was captain of the varsity swim team and student leader of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
