Kaitlin Cswaykus is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP's Downtown Dallas office. She is a member of the Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions, Tort & Catastrophic Loss, and Insurance Coverage & Extra-Contractual Liability Practice Sections. She has nearly 15 years of litigation experience across a wide variety of industries.
Ms. Cswaykus' litigation experience includes defense of medical malpractice, commercial auto and trucking, premises liability, dram shop, and insurance coverage claims. She previously oversaw nationwide litigation for a Fortune 100 technology company. She has extensive experience defending and monitoring high exposure, multi-layer cases, including analysis and development of defense and resolution strategies and assessment of coverage triggers. She also counsels clients on litigation avoidance and mitigating risk exposure.
Ms. Cswaykus represents physicians, hospitals, nurses, and other healthcare providers, major transportation and retail corporations, and businesses across Texas. She also serves excess/umbrella insurance clients, serving as monitoring counsel on high exposure cases. Industries served include healthcare, hospitality, retail, and insurance.
Ms. Cswaykus is involved in the Dallas Bar Association and DAYL Women's Mentoring Circles. She has dedicated many hours of her practice to pro bono work through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program. She also wrote and presented a CLE/CE for attorneys and insurance adjusters on strategic removals to federal court.
