Overview

Karim S. Manji is Senior Counsel in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Walnut Creek office. Mr. Manji’s practice focuses on the defense of claims in the areas of tort and catastrophic loss and he has over 13 years of civil litigation experience. Prior to joining Freeman Mathis & Gary as a member of the On Call Trial Team, Mr. Manji was heavily involved in representing the rights of business owners and landlords in litigation and transactional matters.

He has significant experience with claims of serious injuries including traumatic brain injury, radiculopathy and permanent disability. In the transportation area, he has litigated cases involving personal and commercial vehicles, including trucking and motor coach claims.

Karim is licensed to practice law in all California State Courts and is admitted to practice law in all four United States District Courts in California. Clients appreciate the focus and attention to detail he provides to resolving every matter as well as his ability to address potential issues which could arise in the future.

He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Riverside. He is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada, and the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California. Karim is committed to civic engagement and as a member of Ismaili CIVIC leads volunteering opportunities in the bay area.

In his free time, he enjoys visiting national parks and attending live sporting events, swimming, running, and spending time with his two boys.
