Kelly Johnson is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the downtown Los Angeles office. She is a member of the Firm’s Tort & Catastrophic Loss national practice section.
Prior to joining FMG, Ms. Johnson worked for more than eight years at a defense firm that was consistently in trial. She has extensive experience litigating and preparing cases for trial and has successfully resolved numerous claims through mediation and dispositive motion.
Ms. Johnson received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School, graduating summa cum laude with a certificate in business law. While in law school, she served as an articles editor on the Whittier Law Review and received nine CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grades achieved in multiple subjects, including evidence, torts and real property. She was awarded the Dean's Merit Scholarship each year for remaining in the top five percent of her class. Ms. Johnson also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Richard Lee of the Orange County Superior Court.
