
Ken Remson is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Remson has more than 30 years of experience handling complex insurance coverage claims in jurisdictions across the country. He has represented large national and international insurers and policyholders in insurance coverage issues and disputes regarding commercial, personal lines, and excess policies. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of errors and omissions; directors and officers; environmental liability; construction defects; hurricane coverage; employment practices liability; cyber security; business interruption; and aviation matters.
Mr. Remson draws on experience as a deputy attorney general for the state of Hawaii in the Civil Recoveries Division, where he represented the state’s agencies, departments, and employees in construction disputes, insurance coverage, class actions, collections, and other complex claims. He also served as a clerk to the Hon. Andrew J. Kleinfeld in the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. Prior to entering the legal field, Mr. Remson pursued a career in broadcast journalism for a number of years as a news and sports anchor and reporter. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous organizations and committees. Notably, Mr. Remson volunteered for more than 10 years for the Alliance for Children’s Rights in Los Angeles, finalizing hundreds of adoptions and representing families in benefits cases.
