Lori Mayfield is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Sacramento office. Ms. Mayfield’s practice focuses on the defense of claims in the areas of tort and catastrophic loss, commercial litigation, and construction defect in California. Ms. Mayfield works efficiently to obtain the best possible resolution for her clients. She takes extra steps to make certain her clients are well advised of developments during the pendency of the litigation.
Ms. Mayfield’s Tort and Catastrophic Loss practice includes defense of claims involving premises liability, transportation, complex commercial losses, construction accidents and product liability including toxic torts. She has significant experience with wrongful death claims and serious injuries including traumatic brain injury, complex regional pain syndrome (reflex sympathetic dystrophy), spinal cord stimulators and amputations. In the transportation area, she has litigated cases involving personal and commercial vehicles, including trucking and motor coach claims. She also represents clients in lawsuits involving construction defect litigation on behalf of general contractors and subcontractors in both residential and commercial projects. She also has experience representing public entities in tort claims involving premises, motor vehicles or police negligence cases.
